The event organisers expressed their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated in the raffle, emphasising that the funds raised will go a long way in supporting veterans in need through Wounded Heroes Australia.

Special thanks were extended to the generous sponsors who helped assemble the impressive prize pool, including Nundah Isuzu, ARB Nundah, Bob Jane Toombul, MaxTraxHQ, and Destiny RV (Gold Coast Zenith dealer). Their contributions played a significant role in making the raffle a resounding success.

On the draw day, numerous local businesses and supporters stepped forward to provide valuable assistance, ensuring the smooth running of the event. Notable mentions go to Nundah Isuzu, ARB Nundah, Norweld, North Brisbane 4×4 Club, Ironman Geebung, Bob Jane Toombul, MaxTrax HQ, and BSG Australia (Bingo & Fundraising), who facilitated the Random Number Generation process, ensuring transparency and fairness in selecting the winners. The draw was officially approved by the QLD government.

The event would not have been complete without the captivating presence of Matt Swift, who acted as the Presenter, MC, and car detailer extraordinaire!

Additionally, the charity raffle organisers gave a sneak peek into their upcoming venture, a fundraiser dedicated to supporting bush kids’ education. While keeping the details under wraps, two tantalising clues were shared: the initiative would evoke memories of playing in a sandpit and possibly draw inspiration from a Transformers character. Anticipation is building, as the launch of this exciting fundraiser is just a few short weeks away.

The success of this charity raffle exemplifies the power of community spirit and generosity, creating a positive impact on veterans in crisis. The Australian Horizons Foundation extends heartfelt thanks to all who participated and supported this noble cause.
